Pramac Racing's Turkish rider Toprak Razgatl\u0131o\u011flu finished the MotoGP Dutch GP sprint round in Assen in 17th place. Razgatl\u0131o\u011flu, who had previously dominated this track in WorldSBK, had to contend with a serious technical problem related to braking in his first MotoGP weekend in Assen.<\/p>\n
Toprak, who finished only 22nd in qualifying, described his experience as follows: \u201cQualifying was really tough for me; we just couldn\u2019t find and fix the settings we wanted on the electronics.\u201d Razgatl\u0131o\u011flu emphasized that this problem wasn\u2019t limited to just one lap, openly expressing his disappointment regarding braking: \u201cI don\u2019t feel good at all at the braking points. I rode at the limits during the sprint, but the motorcycle didn\u2019t stop within the desired distance, and it wasn\u2019t efficient during acceleration either.\u201d<\/p>\n
Razgatl\u0131o\u011flu stated that he wasn't complaining about the track's corners, but that the real problem lay in the braking areas: \u201cEvery time I try to slow down my bike, I lose a lot of time. I can clearly see where the problem is through the data, so I hope we can make some changes on Sunday morning.\u201d The rider added that his race pace wasn't actually that bad: \u201cIf we can eliminate the braking problem, the bike will become much more suitable for my riding style and we will be truly competitive.\u201d Razgatl\u0131o\u011flu's starting position in Sunday's main race will be determined by cumulative qualifying points, regardless of the sprint result.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
