Marco Bezzecchi lost control of his motorcycle while taking a left-hand corner at turn 15 in Assen on the second lap of the Dutch GP, traveling at approximately 200 km\/h. The Italian rider, who was in fourth place at the time, was thrown into the gravel trap, flipped over multiple times, and came to a stop just near the barriers. Medical teams arrived at the scene and, after providing initial treatment, transported Bezzecchi to a medical center.<\/p>\n
The driver was taken to hospital for further examination due to complaints of intense pain from the high-energy impact. Imaging revealed no fractures or serious injuries. Bezzecchi was discharged and returned home on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n
The accident had serious consequences for the race: Bezzecchi not only lost a significant number of points but also had to relinquish his MotoGP world championship lead to his Aprilia teammate Jorge Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n
