The episode, shot on the Billown Circuit, aims to offer extensive access to the paddock, riders, organizers, and volunteers.<\/p>\n<h2>What will the series be about?<\/h2>\n<p>According to the producers <em>Inside Lines<\/em>, The pilot episode will take a holistic approach to road racing culture, showcasing the friendships, preparation processes, humor, pressure, and passion that exist beyond the starting line. In the pilot episode, cameras will follow the drivers and the organization throughout the event, aiming to reflect the Southern 100 from a different perspective, both on and off the track.<\/p>\n<p>Southern 100 Club President George Peach made the following statement regarding the matter:\u201c<em>Inside Lines<\/em>\u2018We are proud to support Southern 100 and that it has been chosen as the first leg of this exciting series. Southern 100 has always meant much more than just the race; the people, the community, and the unique atmosphere of the event are what make it special. We believe this film will reflect those qualities in a way that will be truly appreciated by audiences both on and off the island.\u2019<\/p>\n<h2>Johnston: &#039;The perfect place to start&#039;\u2018<\/h2>\n<p>Lee Johnston, who has also been part of the Isle of Man TT broadcast team in recent years, explained why they chose the Southern 100 as the starting point for the series: \u2019The Southern 100 was the clearest place to start. It\u2019s one of the most intimate events in road racing, but it\u2019s also incredibly competitive. The reach, the people, and the stories it holds, <em>Inside Lines<\/em>\u2018It provided the perfect foundation to launch it from here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Practices at the Southern 100 will begin Monday evening as part of the Bank Holiday; roads will be closed to traffic at 6 pm. The event will conclude with Championship Day on Thursday, July 9th.
