As of today, FIA stewards have approved the team&#039;s request, giving the green light for a reassessment of the decisions.<\/p>\n<h2>How will the review process work?<\/h2>\n<p>The &#039;right to review&#039; mechanism in Formula 1 regulations requires a team to present new and conclusive evidence before challenging a stewards&#039; decision during a race. Alpine&#039;s success in this initial stage means the stewards have deemed the evidence presented by the team worthy of review. The next step will be for the stewards to thoroughly examine whether this evidence is sufficiently conclusive and whether the two penalties given to Gasly were justified.<\/p>\n<h2>Gasly&#039;s suspensions in Monaco<\/h2>\n<p>Gasly, <a href=\"https:\/\/frenyok.com\/en\/f1-2026-monaco-gp-avrupa-sezonu-dikkat-edilecekler\/\">The Monaco GP, which marks the opening of the 2026 F1 European season.<\/a> Alpine had received a total of two separate penalties throughout the season. They argued that these decisions were incorrect and filed a formal appeal. Had the team&#039;s request been rejected, the process would have ended at that stage; however, the referees&#039; approval paved the way for a substantive review of the appeal. Depending on the outcome of the review, the penalties will either remain as they are, be modified, or be completely cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>No official timetable has yet been shared regarding when the decision will be announced in the next session of the process.
