Isle of Man TT confirmed that Daniel Ingham (33) lost his life following an accident during practice on Wednesday.

It was his first time participating in TT races.

Ingham, making his debut in the TT, crashed at Doran's Bend on the first lap of the third qualifying session. The Melton Mowbray-born driver has been competing in the Manx Grand Prix since 2016 and won the Senior Manx Grand Prix in 2024.

Condolence message from the organization.

TT extended its condolences to Ingham's wife Helayna, son Joey, and daughter Phoebe. This incident marks the first fatal accident at TT in two years.

Sidecar class suspended.

The organizers removed the Sidecar class from the event for safety reasons following the serious accident involving the Crowe siblings on Wednesday evening. On Tuesday evening, Maria Costello also suffered a serious accident and is currently receiving treatment in hospital.
