The second practice day of TT 2026 started in the afternoon and once again saw fierce competition among the riders. Superbike/Superstock groups took to the track during the afternoon session, with Dean Harrison continuing the form he showed last night.

Harrison took the lead in the Superstock class with a speed of 215.4 km/h, while Michael Dunlop was second with 212.3 km/h. Manx rider Nathan Harrison was third with 209.7 km/h. In the Superbike group, Peter Hickman took the lead with 211.3 km/h; only nine Superbike machines took to the track during the practice session.

In the Supersport session, Dunlop pulled off another surprise: he set an unofficial Sportbike class record with the Ducati Panigale V2. Hickman finished second with 204.8 km/h, while Harrison came in third with 204.7 km/h, just two tenths of a second behind Hickman.

In the other cars, defending champion Ryan and Callum Crowe made their presence felt, comfortably taking the lead with a speed of 190.6 km/h. Ben Birchall and Mark Wilkes were second with 187.6 km/h, while Pete Founds and Jevan Walmsley were third with 185.8 km/h.

A side note: The Superbike/Superstock session was ended earlier than planned due to emergency services vehicles intervening in certain sections of the track. However, according to the organizers, this was related to a non-race medical emergency.
