The accident occurred at the exit of Parliament Square in the Ramsey borough. A red flag was immediately deployed in the incident, which affected a single driver and a group of spectators. All racing activities were immediately suspended and emergency response procedures were implemented.

According to the organizers' statement, the pilot involved in the accident was taken to Nobles Hospital with leg injuries. The pilot, who is reported to be conscious, is undergoing treatment. Eight spectators affected by the incident were also taken to Nobles Hospital. These injured spectators are also conscious.

No activity throughout the day.

What will happen tomorrow?

Activities are scheduled to resume on Tuesday, May 26th. However, the schedule may be updated depending on the progress of the investigation and security assessments.

TT is, by its very nature, one of the most dangerous motorsport events in the world. While the organizers increase safety measures every year, the challenging nature of the Mountain Course makes it impossible to completely eliminate the risk. 🏍️
