The Acropolis Rally, the 8th round of the 2026 FIA World Rally Championship, will be held in Greece from June 25-28. Two teams from Türkiye will compete in this challenging rally; most notably, Ali Türkkan and Oytun Albayrak will be making their WRC2 debut.

Türkkan's WRC2 adventure begins.

Ali Türkkan, who finished first in both the WRC3 and Junior categories at the same rally last year, is now stepping up to the next category, WRC2. Türkkan and his navigator, Oytun Albayrak, will compete with a Ford Fiesta MKII under the support of the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED). This marks their first official start in the WRC2 category.

Soylu is also taking to the track with a Skoda Fabia RS.

The second participant from Türkiye will be Uğur Soylu. Soylu, who has spent the last three seasons in the WRC Masters Cup, will have Mehmet Akif Yalçın in the navigator seat for this rally. Soylu, who drives a Skoda Fabia RS under the GP Garage My Team banner, will continue his competition on the Acropolis track.

Rally program and stage details

The Acropolis Rally, with a total length of 1,165 kilometers, will begin with a spectator stage on Thursday, June 25th at 7:00 PM. A total of 16 special stages will be run throughout the competition: 6 on Friday, 6 on Saturday, and 4 on Sunday.
