Manuel Gonzalez delivered a stunning performance at the 2026 Moto2 Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello, winning the race by five seconds. Completing the podium were Celestino Vietti, who made a fantastic overtake on the final lap, and Dani Holgado.
Gonzalez Dominated the Race
The Spanish rider's commanding race performance resulted in a controlled victory from start to finish. Gonzalez established a consistent dominance in Moto2 by creating a five-second gap between himself and his rivals.
Vietti's Amazing Whirlwind
Celestino Vietti made an impressive climb, finishing second after starting 16th. The Italian rider managed to create a podium surprise by overtaking Holgado in the final moments of the last lap. Dani Holgado finished in third place.

Senna Agius finished the race in fourth place. Filip Salac took fifth. Alonso Lopez finished sixth but received a penalty; he received a long lap penalty for contact with Alex Escrig, who crashed. Izan Guevara, Barry Baltus, Collin Veijer, and Deniz Oncu completed the rest of the race, making up the top ten finishers.
