Ducati Aruba.IT Racing has officially announced that Spanish rider Iker Lecuona will remain with the team for the 2027 and 2028 seasons. The 26-year-old is currently second in the championship standings.
Nicolo Bulega won the first race of the Misano round of the World Superbike Championship. Turkish rider Bahattin Sofuoğlu finished 16th and did not score any points.

Iker Lecuona, who raced as a deputy in MotoGP last week, said he felt happier and calmer than usual ahead of the Misano World Superbike Tour.
Superbike rider Iker Lecuona is returning to MotoGP this weekend at the Hungarian Grand Prix, replacing the injured Alex Marquez.
