Pramac Racing's Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlıoğlu finished the MotoGP Dutch GP sprint round in Assen in 17th place. Razgatlıoğlu, who had previously dominated this track in WorldSBK, had to contend with a serious technical problem related to braking in his first MotoGP weekend in Assen.

Electronic swamp in qualifying sessions too.

Toprak, who finished only 22nd in qualifying, described his experience as follows: “Qualifying was really tough for me; we just couldn’t find and fix the settings we wanted on the electronics.” Razgatlıoğlu emphasized that this problem wasn’t limited to just one lap, openly expressing his disappointment regarding braking: “I don’t feel good at all at the braking points. I rode at the limits during the sprint, but the motorcycle didn’t stop within the desired distance, and it wasn’t efficient during acceleration either.”

He looks to the Sunday race with optimism.

Razgatlıoğlu stated that he wasn't complaining about the track's corners, but that the real problem lay in the braking areas: “Every time I try to slow down my bike, I lose a lot of time. I can clearly see where the problem is through the data, so I hope we can make some changes on Sunday morning.” The rider added that his race pace wasn't actually that bad: “If we can eliminate the braking problem, the bike will become much more suitable for my riding style and we will be truly competitive.” Razgatlıoğlu's starting position in Sunday's main race will be determined by cumulative qualifying points, regardless of the sprint result.
