Kaulig Racing driver Ty Dillon will make his 300th start in the NASCAR Cup Series this Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway. This career milestone coincides with a special weekend marking the series' return to Chicagoland after a six-year absence.
A milestone in his career.
Ty Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress, founder of Richard Childress Racing, and brother of Austin Dillon, is one of the drivers who has maintained a long and successful career in NASCAR's top category. Reaching the 300-start mark is a testament to the consistency achieved by drivers who have endured the physical and competitive demands of the series for years.
A competitive weekend
Dillon is also competing in the In-Season Challenge this season; he faced Denny Hamlin in the first round of the season. The weekend is even more significant for him as he will be making his 300th start at the 1.5-mile Chicagoland circuit, which the Cup Series is visiting for the first time since 2019.
